Bradley Burston tiene, sulle colonne di Ha'aretz online, una rubrica (che definisce blog, con qualche improprieta')* intitolata "A Special Place In Hell". E' li' che ho letto molte delle cose piu' sensate e piu' acute dell'ultimo periodo sul conflitto tra Palestinesi e Israele. Oggi parla della stupefacente capacita' di autoinganno che sta nelle narrative delle due parti:
Can there be another conflict on God's green earth which in the space of a few generations has generated two entire new cultures, two entire new identities, each at war with the other, each dismissing the validity of the other, the rights of the other, the very authenticity of the identity the other is trying so vigorously to hang onto?
There are those on both sides, propagandists, fanatics, columnists, who insist that their own side is the sole heir to antiquity, the sole claimant to the property and the history of the Holy Land, the sole injured party, the sole heroic player.
They believe it with everything they have.
The best part, of course, is that they tend to believe that anyone who sees things differently is deluded. A victim of self-deception.

Perche' non e' possibile commentare questo post?
I casi sono due:
- o e' un post di puro e semplice servizio -- e allora non c'e' niente da commentare
- o e' un post che parla di nostro figlio e della sua condizione di bambino autistico -- e in questo caso il fatto e' che -- ci capirete, e se non ci capite peggio per voi -- non e' un argomento su cui si possa tollerare a cuor leggero l'invasione di spammer, troll, venditori di rimedi miracolosi, sostenitori di teorie strampalate, crociati di questa o quell'altra crociata -- insomma tutta quella roba che gia' fa perdere la pazienza quando si parla dell'ultima str... del politico di turno, ma che quando si parla di un figlio fa proprio male.
Se poi avete qualcosa che volete *davvero* comunicarci, c'e' l'indirizzo di posta del blog. Grazie.
