Elisabetta sono belle e resistenti, niente da fare. E uno le tiene perchè sono bellissime. Sono stata veramente al volo sia da Waitrose che da Whola Foods, avrei voluto soffermarmi un po' di più, perchè sono veramente dei bellissimi negozi. anna mix di spezie preferisco farli con i prodotti fair trade. Purtroppo qui in Italia non arrivano spezie fragranti come quelle che tu mi hai fatto assaggiare a Sevilla. Sicuro che non trovi il sommaco? hai guardato dal buon Gernot Katzer come si chiama in spagnolo?

Waitrose meraviglioso, ogni volta io faccio incetta di Tarragon, della serie del tuo coriander.. Gli occhi ogni volta attirati da ogni perla di elegante e pulito packaging (comprese le buste appunto, me le chiede mia madre come souvneir, pensaunpotù...)

Sono rientrata anche io da Londra da poco, dopo quasi due mesi lì... è vero Londra non annoia mai, è fantastica. Confermo la passione per Waitrose, ma anche WholeFoods. E confermo anche come imperdibili Ottolenghi, stava proprio vicino a casa nostra, e Borough Market (se ti va trovi le nostre foto sul Cucchiaino):-)

Ah quanti ricordi! Io a Londra ci ho vissuto qualche anno, ma sono almeno 4 che non ci torno. Spero di farci una capatina quest'anno..
Waitrose è un supermercato davvero "posh", io ci andavo quando volevo sentirmi importante. La cosa che mi ha sempre colpito tanto è la luce, e il colore bianco dominante che ti da davvero la senzazione di pulizia ed eleganza..

Anch'io ho le mie scorte di zathar e summac, oltre che di una miriade di altre spezie di cui ho fatto razzia durante il mio ultimo viaggio in Libano.

...voglia di partire, voglia di viaggi, voglia di Londra, Barcellona, Lisbona, Now York, Giappone...(ed altre città scontate :) per me)... è bello cominciare la settimana pensando a tutti i viaggi che vorremmo fare. Grazie Elena.

Il barhat, mi suonava familiare...è una miscela che ho preparato tempo fa con le indicazioni del mio libro sulle spezie, buonissima, anche se la mia è più sul giallino.
Londra mi manca, nel senso che non ci sono mai stata e vorrei tanto :) e quando sraà mi ricorderò di questo post, non fosse altro che per quella busta di coriandolo fresco (per la serie, mai visto dal vivo :)

Hai ragione cara, il packaging di questo tè è accattivante, raffinato. A giudicare da ciò che hai scelto (un tè bianco cinese e un tè verde al gelsomino), direi che hai fatto un acquisto delicatissimo, con cui difficilmente si può sbagliare.

La borsa in plastica robusta con i manici verdi ce l'ho da un anno e mezzo, la uso per la spesa ogni giorno e mi sa che durerà ancora per molto, molto tempo!
Ma poi, che dire di Waitrose, se non che quando siamo stati a Londra mi ci sarei accampata dentro per tutta la vacanza?

Elena, che belle spese, e per buone ragioni! I mix di spezie faccio fatica a comprarli perché penso che posso farmeli, più freschi, da me, però quelle scatole sono proprio belle e valgono la pena a prescindere dal contenuto. (Oltretutto io il summac non lo trovo, per cui il contenuto pure è interessante).
Un fine settimana a Londra insieme sarebbe bello, vero?
